Biofluid Simulation and Modeling
Nearly all processes in living and organic materials take place in a liquid environment. Oxygen transport in blood, the self-assembly of cell membranes, bioprinting, or the aggregation of dye molecules in organic solar cells are but a few examples for the importance of biofluids. Our group uses large-scale simulations combined with analytical modeling to investigate the fascinating richness of biofluids on all length scales - from a single molecule to a full blood vessel.
